“A lot of younger people pass by me while I’m running. It’s a bit of a metaphor for the rest of my life. I turned forty-seven in October. I’m starting to have bosses that are younger than me. It’s causing me to question what my experience is worth.” –Woman from Humans of New York
Whew. I get her. Maybe you do too. Although I’m about to be 41 and my bosses are older than me (they could be younger. . . I just happen to work for old people :)))
Rest . . . in knowing that your worth isn’t what you’re able to produce, how hard you work, what’s been done to you or how much money you make. Some days I cannot separate my who and my do.
I want to share some great news. God loves you. God knows you fully. God will never reject you and He sees you as having infinite value and infinite worth. Infinite.
Big Hug, Amy
God doesn’t love us because of our worth, we are of worth because God loves us. –Martin Luther
