For its 2016 Festival, SPIRIT Fest is moving from Dell Diamond Baseball Stadium to Circuit of The Americas (COTA), the premier concert venue in Austin. The announcement was made today by SPIRIT 105.9. “To better serve the growing audience of SPIRIT 105.9, we’re thrilled to expand the footprint of SPIRIT Fest by moving to COTA. The larger venue at COTA will allow more families to come together and enjoy a fun day of worship and the best in Contemporary Christian music”, said General Manager Tim McCoy.
At the COTA venue, the Festival music performances will take place on two stages, the Austin 360 Amphitheatre main stage and the second stage at the Grand Plaza, to provide Festival goers excellent vantage to enjoy their favorite performers up close and personal.
The COTA Plaza area will be transformed into a large fun zone for the kid in all of us, offering families a wide array of fun and families activities to enjoy – bouncy houses, scavenger hunts, food trucks, face painters, clowns, jugglers, petting zoo, pony rides, and so much more. Festival goers can also browse and shop at the Festival marketplace to show their support of local businesses and non-profits.
On Sunday, November 13th, come join SPIRIT 105.9 at COTA to celebrate year six of the popular SPIRIT Fest, Central Texas’ largest music and family festival. SPIRIT 105.9 is pleased to present Grammy award winning headliners and popular worship bands, including Newsboys, For King & Country, Lauren Daigle, the Afters, Ryan Stevenson and many more.
Tickets for SPIRIT Fest will go on sale Friday, June 24th at 10:00 a.m. CST, at spirit1059.com, ticketmaster.com, circuitoftheamericas.com and all Ticketmaster outlets throughout Texas or can be charged by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
