Bernie Sanders is running for president–– He’s a 73-year-old Vermont senator that will announce his candidacy today, he is the first challenger to Hillary Clinton, but he’s not likely to be the last.
Homes in Leander saw the biggest property value gains, up nearly 14 percent. And for the second year in a row, home property values in Williamson County soared by double digits, jumping more than 12 percent from an average of $217,000 in 2014 to $242,000 this year. Low supply and high demand is driving the increase. Property values in other Central Texas counties are rising at similar rates. In Travis County, the average residential property rose 11 percent. Hays County also saw a 12 percent gain. Hutto home values rose the lowest but were still up more than 9 percent.
Highland Mall closes it’s doors for good today. It was the first indoor mall built in Austin – it opened back in 1971.
