Search continues for child possibly exposed to rabid dog—The health department is asking the public’s help in locating a child who may have been exposed to a rabid dog at Zilker Park in Austin. The child, described as blond, very fair skinned and elementary age, visited Zilker Park’s off-leash dog park during the dog’s infectious period on Feb. 8 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The boy was observed playing with the infected black and white Border Collie mix for about 15 minutes.
