KVUE meteorologist Albert Ramon says rain will continue over much of the area for the remainder of Monday morning as temperatures are above freezing. Some rain will be mixed with sleet in the Hill Country, but there have been no reports of accumulation on roads, bridges, or overpasses.
Expect cloudy and cold conditions Monday afternoon with a few passing, light showers possible. Highs will be nearly 30 degrees below average in the upper 30s.
Monday night will be cloudy and cold, with only a slight chance for a passing shower. A few snow flurries will be possible before dawn in the Hill Country. No accumulation is expected.
Tuesday morning expect clouds, then afternoon peaks of sun. Highs will remain below average in the upper 40s and low 50s.
An area-wide freeze is expected Tuesday and Wednesday night under a clear sky, with highs Wednesday and Thanksgiving afternoon in the 50s.
