So, did then-President Obama have then-candidate Trump's New York offices wiretapped during the 2016 election? FBI Director James Comey is expected to refute that claim when he testifies today on Capitol Hill before the House Intelligence Committee. President Trump made the allegation in a series of tweets March 4. He has not backed down even as House and Senate leaders briefed by James Comey recently have flatly denied it.  

Neil Gorsuch, President Trumps pick to replace Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court will begin his confirmation hearings today.  Gorsuch is 49 years old with degrees from Harvard Law School and Oxford.  His views and writings will be scrutinized by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

AUSTIN:

The Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team are in the sweet 16 for the third straight year.  Brooke McCarty scored with 4 seconds left to beat North Carolina State.  The Baylor women’s team will try to get to the sweet 16 tonight.  Baylor’s men’s team beat USC 82-78 – they will play South Carolina on Friday.  

The field is set for the 2017 WGC Dell Technologies Match Play tournament with seven of the top 10 golfers in the world making their way to Austin this week.  Jason Day, the defending tournament champion, will be here.  The tournament starts Wednesday morning. Former Texas Longhorn Jordan Spieth will again serve as the unofficial tournament host.  The semifinal and championship match up will be Sunday.
