As classes start, style will be back in session at Barton Creek Square, The Domain and Lakeline Mall. The local community is invited to the shopping destinations for tax-free weekend on August 17 through 19 as all properties extend their hours to allow shoppers additional time to make tax-free purchases.

Barton Creek Square, The Domain and Lakeline Mall will offer an exciting opportunity for shoppers to purchase back-to-school necessities without paying sales tax on qualifying items during Tax-Free Weekend in accordance with the Texas Sales Tax Holiday. The 3-day sales tax break begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 17 and ends at midnight on Sunday, August 19. During this period, retailers will not be required to collect state and local sales use tax on most footwear, clothing, backpacks and school supplies priced less than $100.

Barton Creek Square

During tax-free weekend, the first 200 shoppers who visit Simon Guest Services and register for Barton Creek Square’s email or mobile shopper club will receive a complimentary back to school goody bag, while supplies last.

Lakeline Mall

Lakeline Mall will also give the first 100 shoppers on both Friday, August 17 and Saturday, August 18 who visit Simon Guest Services and sign up for their email or mobile shopper club a complimentary goody bag, while supplies last.
