Often when you think of the Texas State Fair that happens each year in Dallas, you immediately dwell on the delicious food. Or you may feel more somber towards the downfall of Big Tex who burned down a few years ago after over 50 years of being the fair’s icon. But between the Funnel Cake Bacon Queso Burger (Yes, you read that right) and the Deep Fried Chicken Noodle Soup on a Stick, stood our favorite thing about this year’s fair.
Beloved brothers, Joel and Luke Smallbone of for KING & COUNTRY closed out the last night of the fair. The band played some of their best known hits to a roaring crowd showing once again that everything’s not only bigger in Texas but better too. And while we wish we could have seen it all while chomping on Tamale Donuts, we’ll survive because the band will be in our neck of the woods before we know it with an awesome new show!
A Glorious Christmas will be making its first stop at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park on November 30th. The boys will be accompanied by Casting Crowns and both bands will play the hits plus some amazing Christmas tunes. There will be opportunities to shop, see Santa and play in our family fun zone. Oh yeah, and their will be delicious food there too with some of Austin’s finest trucks. We’d love for you to join us for an amazing night!
