Meet the Austin Humane Society’s Pet of the Week, Simone! Simone is a gorgeous two-year-old Domestic Shorthair with sleek black fur and captivating green eyes. This cuddle-bug is seeking a special family to love her. Simone has a skin condition that requires extra care to help keep the symptoms under control. She needs to remain indoors only, eat a hypoallergenic diet and receive periodic allergy treatment. Simone knows she requires a bit of extra work and always makes sure to say thank you by giving extra affection. This lovely girl is also very smart and even comes when you call her name. Take advantage of our Summer of Love adoption special when all adult cats are just $20 and stop by AHS to meet Simone today!

Serving our community since 1952, the Austin Humane Society (AHS) is the longest standing no-kill shelter in Austin. AHS transforms the lives of animals and the people who love them through life-saving programs that find animals homes, serve animals and people in times of crisis, prevent future homelessness though spay and neuter, and engage the community to be a part of the solution. Over the past year, AHS has unleashed hope for nearly 11,000 animals thanks to the generosity of our donors.
The Austin Humane Society is located at 124 W. Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78752. AHS is open from noon-7p.m Monday-Saturday and noon-5pm on Sundays. For more information visit www.austinhumanesociety.org or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
