Meet the Austin Humane Society’s dog of the week Remy! Remy is an especially handsome 3-year-old male Black Retriever/Lab mix. This boy is super smart and already knows several commands including sit, down, and roll over! He’s very eager to please so he will be a fun dog to train. Remy is very active and would be an awesome buddy out on the hike and bike trails! He loves to play catch too. Remy is house trained and used to staying in a crate when he needs to be home alone. Remy has been spending time with a foster family and is getting rave reviews. He’s the perfect house guest! Now he needs his forever home. Is it you? Come meet this super pal at AHS today!

Serving our community since 1952, the Austin Humane Society (AHS) is the longest standing no-kill shelter in Austin. AHS transforms the lives of animals and the people who love them through life-saving programs that find animals homes, serve animals and people in times of crisis, prevent future homelessness though spay and neuter, and engage the community to be a part of the solution. Over the past year, AHS has unleashed hope for nearly 11,000 animals thanks to the generosity of our donors.
The Austin Humane Society is located at 124 W. Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78752. AHS is open from noon-7p.m Monday-Saturday and noon-5pm on Sundays. For more information visit www.austinhumanesociety.org or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
