Say hello to the Austin Humane Society’s pet of the week, Sarge! Sarge is a handsome 3-year-old mixed breed pup currently looking for his forever home. Sarge is a puppy playgroup all star and gets along with all the dogs he meets! He’s also had great outings to see some friends at DogBoys. If you’re looking for a pup to take to the dog park or out on the town, this is the boy for you! Sarge walks great on leash and would also make an awesome hiking buddy! Trip to the greenbelt anyone? Sarge loves people, but is a little unsure of small children. We think he would do best in a home with older kiddos. Stop by and meet this super pal at AHS today!

Serving our community since 1952, the Austin Humane Society (AHS) is the longest standing no-kill shelter in Austin. AHS transforms the lives of animals and the people who love them through life-saving programs that find animals homes, serve animals and people in times of crisis, prevent future homelessness though spay and neuter, and engage the community to be a part of the solution. Over the past year, AHS has unleashed hope for nearly 11,000 animals thanks to the generosity of our donors.
The Austin Humane Society is located at 124 W. Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78752. AHS is open from noon-7p.m Monday-Saturday and noon-5pm on Sundays. For more information visit www.austinhumanesociety.org or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
