While driving through your car recently, battling the traffic, you may have heard a familiar voice enticing you to let it all out and dance in the car. If you’re like us, there’s no embarrassment in the car when a good song comes on, just complete freedom. We’ll belt it out like no one’s watching.
The song we’re specifically referring to is Third Day’s new single, “Revival” and we may be so bold as to say it’s the anthem of the summer season. Mac Powell, lead singer of the band, wrote the song with the inspiration of Revival Week, an annual event held by his childhood church. The song embodies nostalgia being produced by Monroe Jones who was involved with the band’s late nineties and early millennium hits. If you haven’t heard it yet, be ready to kick off your shoes. It’s a fun ride!
