For those of you who regularly watch Dancing with the Stars, you’re probably aware that Gold Medalist Olympian Simone Biles is a contestant. She’s never been one to hide her faith and we love seeing that confirmed time after time again.
Last night, a new episode aired where contestants were asked to dance to a song that commemorated their most memorable year. This is notably one of the most popular nights that the show features each season. The new contestants lived up to the hype with last night being a complete tear jerker. You may have guessed that Simone would choose a past moment from the Olympics but that’s not the case.
Simone chose the year she was adopted by her grandparents. If you aren’t familiar with Simone’s story, you can catch it in the video below. It’s definitely emotional. To top off the sweet moment, she chose the song, “Good Good Father” by Chris Tomlin. The performance scored her 9’s across the board. Pretty great, huh?
You can watch the beautiful performance below. Just grab the tissues first.
