President Trump will sign two executive orders targeting the trade deficit today, asking for a detailed report on trade barriers by country and industry and targeting trade agreements, intellectual property theft and $2.8 billion in unpaid anti-dumping fines. The orders come a week before President Trump’s meeting with Chinese president Xi Jinping in Mar-a-Lago . Even though China is the largest source of the trade deficit and the biggest offender on dumping, administration officials say it’s not about any one country.

A Cirque du Soleil performer was injured during a performance at Marymoor Park in Redmond last night. She was part of a swing to swing act when she fell and landed on her back. They stopped the show and took her away on a gurney. She was fully conscious and stable and was not taken to the hospital.
A bridge on interstate 85 in Atlanta collapsed yesterday because of a fire below the bridge. There were no casualties. They have declared a state of emergency—a lot of business and schools are closed today because they have had closed this area off indefinitely.
Forty-three people are out of their homes because of a fire at Westwood Apartments near Lake Creek Parkway and 183. The apartment complex fed the displaced residents dinner and put them up in hotels. The Red Cross is also helping.
Calls about a pickup truck swerving and driving erratically came in to authorities in two different counties before that bus crash that took the lives of 13 members of First Baptist Church of New Braunfels. Sherriff’s deputies were dispatched to the scene but before they got there one of the callers called back to report the accident. The driver of the pickup which crossed the center line and hit the bus is in serious condition.
