FBI Director James Comey reportedly asked the Department of Justice to reject President Trump’s claim that former President Obama ordered the wiretapping of his phones during the campaign. Both the FBI and the Department of Justice have declined to comment.
The South Korean military said North Korea fired several projectiles off its eastern coast early this morning in what appeared to be the second launch in a month. The tests come as leader Kim Jong Un pushes for a nuclear and missile program that can deter what he calls U.S. and South Korean hostility toward the North.

Police say a man who doesn’t know how to swim jumped into the deep end of a pool at a New Jersey hotel and rescued a 9-year-old boy from drowning. Police say 37-year-old Randolph Perez, of Pennsylvania, was checking in at the time. The boy he rescued and Randolph are both going to be okay.
