A major storm — likely the strongest in at least six years — is going to bring drenching rain, heavy mountain snow and high winds to Southern California today and tomorrow. Floods, mudslides, rockslides, travel delays and power outages are all possible. Starting today, Austin Police are looking extra hard for people using their cellphones while they drive. The fine for using your phone without a hands free device is $220. They wrote nearly 5000 citations last year.
