The rains over this weekend and this weeks have caused flooding. Once again, we are needed by our neighbors to help them recover from local disasters. The Austin Disaster Relief Network is calling for volunteers to help with cleanup this week all the way through Saturday.

Can’t break free to help out with clean up? There are other ways you can help, including:
- SHEPHERD A FAMILY (DRS Program)
- VOLUNTEER IN THE CALL CENTER (ADRN TRAINED/BADGED)
We are beginning to receive calls from survivors and local agencies needing support and assistance. We are looking for ADRN trained Call Center volunteers who are willing to come in and join us in the relief efforts. As of now, we are asking for a small team (5 to 10) to come in today, any time between 12PM and 7PM for a minimum of a 2 hour shift (longer shifts are helpful). To sign up to help today, click here. - CLEANUP OPPORTUNITIES (Individuals/Groups/Corporate Teams)

- RED CROSS SHELTER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
ADRN works closely with Central Texas Red Cross and they have 8 shelters open currently. They are in need of ADRN volunteers to assist in the shelters + other roles and are looking for people who can work a 12 hr. shift, and willing to travel up to 100 miles if needed. - HOPE FAMILY THRIFT STORE / WAREHOUSE VOLUNTEERS & DROP-OFF
ADRN’s Hope Family Thrift Store (hopefamilythrift.org) is preparing to meet the needs of the flood survivors. We will be sorting, hanging clothes and organizing inventory. 1122 E. 51 Street, Austin, TX 78723. ADRN is in need of 15 or more volunteers daily to help receive items. - DONATE RESOURCES
ADRN is receiving donations of tangible items and financial donations to help support the survivors of the floods to meet their short and long-term needs through the rebuilding phase. To donate resources, click here. To give a monetary donation, please give to the May 2016 Flood Fund.
