Brazil’s lower house of Congress has voted to impeach President Dilma Rousseff. She has using accounting tricks in managing the federal budget but has not been charged with any crimes. The Senate will vote next. If they vote to impeach her she will be suspended and the vice president would take over.

Some banks and ATMs are testing various technologies that allow account holders to withdraw money without using their cards, so you might want to see if that’s an option for you. Upgrading to an EMV chip-enabled debit card — if your bank has not already provided one — can help, too.
This had to be scary. A drone hit a British Airways flight as it came in to land at Heathrow Airport. None of the 132 people on board was hurt. They haven’t been able to find out who was responsible. There have been several incidents with drones flying in British airspace.
