The wait is finally over. After all the trailers and the conventions and the hype, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is finally hitting theaters nationwide today.
The city council passed the new rules for background checks for transportation networking companies like Uber and Lyft. Mayor Steve Adler offered some last minute compromises. For example, the companies will have until February of 2017 to comply. Originally they were going to have to make the changes by Feburary of 2016.
You’ve probably noticed that the Mopac construction project is not done yet. It was supposed to be finished in September, it got moved back to spring, now it could be longer than that. Now the contractor is been given a default notice by the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority. The contractor has said things like underground cables, and rock that was harder than expected are some of the reasons for the delay.
