The fourth Republican Presidential Debate is tonight at 8pm (6pm) on the Fox Business Network. The moderators are promising to be invisible after the criticism CNBC got for the last debate. This time around the focus will be on business and economic issues. There will be two fewer candidates on the main stage. Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee got bumped to the early debate which will happened two hours before the main event.
One in seven college graduates are delaying marriage due to student loan debt; and 47 percent of them have put off purchasing a new car, According to a 2015 report by Student Loan Hero. Research also shows rising college loan debt is impacting the economy in alarming ways. It typically involves young adults seeking the American dream by going to college in hopes of landing a good job. It’s what their parents, teachers and prospective employers urged them to do throughout high school. Instead of landing high-paying jobs, more graduates are now experiencing delays in seeing the financial benefit from their diplomas.
National Highway Transportation Safety Administrator Mark Rosekind said Monday that ‘every child on every school bus needs a three-point seat belt.’ ‘NHTSA will seek to use all the tools at our disposal to help achieve that goal, and today, I want to launch a nationwide effort to get us there,’ Rosekind told the National Association for Pupil Transportation.
They’ve arrested a person of interest in Houston for the attack on judge Julie Kah-SOR-rek. He has not yet been charged. Kah-SOR-rek was shot at and hit by shards of glass. On Monday afternoon, a family representative sent a statement saying “The Kocurek family is grateful to everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support; the outpouring has been a tremendous source of encouragement. Judge Kocurek is receiving great care from a wonderful team of doctors and nurses. Their efforts, along with Judge Kocurek’s faith, are helping her improve everyday.”
