Students were evacuated from Burnet High School after a bomb threat yesterday afternoon. Police arrested a kid near San Antonio. But later in the day a bomb threat was made against Burnet Elementary. Both campuses were given the all clear and classes will go on as scheduled today.
Mosquitoes found in two locations of Georgetown have tested positive for West Nile Virus. The city will begin spraying insecticide in the neighborhoods nearby on Wednesday from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m. They will also spray Thursday and Friday in preparation for the city’s Halloween celebration on Saturday.
