The ‘potentially catastrophic’ Category 5 Hurricane Patricia is sustaining 160-mph winds as it barrels toward southwestern Mexico, with landfall expected this evening. Forecast to create rainfall of up to 20 inches in some areas along with possible flash floods and mudslides. *****Patricia could also affect Texas, magnifying the already heavy rainfall hitting us.
Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan has said yes to running for Speaker of the House. He wanted to make sure he had widespread support among the different factions of the Republican party before he would agree to run. He said that if he could be a unifying figure, he would go all in.
