Three people aboard a SkyWest airlines flight on its way to Connecticut lost consciousness Wednesday causing the plane to be diverted, descend steeply and make an emergency landing in New York. The flight was carrying 75 passengers as it departed from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. It had been bound for Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut before it made its landing . Everyone was okay—An additional 15 adults and two children were evaluated upon landing, but none required treatment outside the airport.
Amazon now ships to your Audi’s trunk–-Audi is teaming up with Amazon and DHL to pilot a German program that allows packages to be delivered to car trunks. Beginning next month in Munich, Audi owners can use their cars’ onboard infotainment Connect system to allow temporary authorization to DHL personnel to deliver items ordered through Amazon Prime via one-time keyless access to a vehicle’s trunk.
Pop-up shop clothes Austin’s homeless–An idea that originated in South Africa is providing life’s necessities to homeless men and women in Austin. The idea for The Street Store came from Cape Town, South Africa, where volunteers created a rent-free, pop-up shop. It’s been replicated 200 times across the globe, and this was the first in Austin.
